A parent’s nightmare. You bundle up your “bundle of joy” and send him or her on their way to a once in a life time experience; the college dorm. I vividly remember packing up number five who followed in the footsteps of his older siblings and opted for a college experience out of state. The campus was great and only two hours away from home, emergency food and money.
When we got back home, my husband and I felt real proud of ourselves. That was number five. Then we turned on the news and sat dumb-founded as the reporters talked about the top three universities known for partying and binge=drinking. We had just dropped number five off at the number one partying school in the country.
